Michelle is fair game because she's a player. Just as Chelsea was that time around, because she is a player. And, I think Cindy's airplane and networks are just as in play as are Bill Clinton's connections. All I'm sayin' is I like Barack steppin' up and shakin' his fists at those who attack his wife. Very Chivalric. I just wish he would raise both fists and more often. But he's coming. He's coming. The American people want to see a fighter up in front, leading them. An Elite fighter. Obama is the one to put America Barack on track.Vigilantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07640246609540057997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12597943.post-89181135776518540632008-05-19T13:19:00.000-05:002008-05-19T13:19:00.000-05:00Having said all that, the Tennesee Republican Part...Having said all that, the Tennesee Republican Party is so blazingly stupid, they need to be institutionalized.

That ad will backfire and bring Obama more votes than he can possibly imagine.

When the Republicans are wiped out this fall, they will deserve it.

Stupid. See her blog entry from this morning Two Minutes Hate.

Lucas said, quite correctly, "He can’t possibly believe that things his wife says at political campaign rallies are immune from criticism. As Hot Air pointed out, Barack himself has criticized Bill Clinton in the exact same way. And I will give each of you five trillion dollars if Cindy McCain ever says anything massively stupid and inflammatory on stage at a public McCain campaign event, and the Obama campaign ignores it because she’s the wife, not the candidate. No shit, five trillion dollars. See, I can promise that because I know it’s not physically possible for that scenario to ever occur."

You cannot send your wife into the arena and then instruct the lions that she is exempt from attack.

It's one thing to keep your kids off limits when they are young and not directly involved in your campaign, as the Clinton's did with Chelsea Clinton or the Bush's did with the twins.

But, give me a break, did anyone ever lay off Hillary Clinton when Bill was President?Bob Kellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18171655256407149176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12597943.post-49259526446023425492008-05-19T10:59:00.000-05:002008-05-19T10:59:00.000-05:00I think you have a point here, Wizard. Without loo...I think you have a point here, Wizard. Without looking into the quote further, let me say that much. I don't much like some of the plaintive tones struck by Obama on the campaign trail occasionally. I much prefer the down-to-earth tones he strikes in his "Lay off my wife" riff, as in:

The GOP, should I be the nominee, can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record. If they think that they're going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful because that I find unacceptable, the notion that you start attacking my wife or my family.

He said that in Tennessee.

On related issue, I applaud all dissing of Faux News. It is a retrogressive force in American politics and needs to be marginalized as much as possible until it changes its editorial content.Vigilantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07640246609540057997noreply@blogger.com
