Unfortunately. But that's not to say that any plan is better than no plan at all. <BR/><BR/>Speaking personally, I would say that drilling off-shore is more thinkable than Anwar; both are debatable as partial options; neither are solutions.<BR/><BR/>The way I see it, one thing is not debatable: and that is allowing the rationing of fossil fuels to be accomplished by the market forces (according to who can afford it and who cannot). That's not an equitable or effective solution. IMO, the time for rigid enforcement of stringent CAFE standards has long since arrived. SUV's are dinosaurs which we can no longer afford as a society, and ought to be taken off our roads so that all Americans may have more access to transportation in economy cars.
