A really short post on last night's South Carolina Republican Debate.
Everybody lost.
In fairness, the format continues to be just terrible. Sixty Second Scripted Answers should now be made illegal by federal statute.
The biggest loser: Ron Paul. What an idiot.
The biggest winners: Fred Thompson and Newt Gingrich. They haven't announced and didn't participate.
In the immortal words from the classic 1983 movie War Games, "The only way to win is not to play."

I have one good thing to say about the Republican debate last night. The Kroger Center where it was held is an awesome place to attend a concert. James Taylor rocked the house last years, even in the nose bleed seats were I was at.
Of course, I never thought about watching it. But replays showed me that Ron Paul was the only one not on GOP talking points. If that makes him an idiot from the Republican perspective, I guess I can understand that. If I think about it.
